Legal
Terms of use
These terms apply to everyone who uses this website, sends a form, or takes part in the expedition community.
About this website
This site describes an expedition and media project in development. Route, dates, vehicles, participants, partners and broadcast plans are indicative and may change for operational, legal, safety or weather reasons.
Nothing on this site is a confirmation of a sponsor, manufacturer, broadcaster, streaming platform or agreement unless it is explicitly named as confirmed.
No offer of securities or investment advice
The partnership and investment pages are an invitation to open a conversation. They are not an offer of securities, a prospectus, a solicitation or investment advice. Commercial terms exist only in signed agreements prepared with qualified counsel.
Using our content
- Text, photography, video, graphics and the Ice to Fire name and marks belong to the project or its licensors.
- You may link to pages and quote short extracts with attribution for editorial purposes.
- You may not republish whole articles, resell content, or use our marks to imply a partnership that does not exist.
- Press and media may request assets and interview access by writing to hq@icetofire.live.
Content you send us
When you send an application, enquiry, photograph or video link, you confirm that you are entitled to share it and that it is accurate. You keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to use it internally to assess your submission, and, if you are selected, to agree separately in writing what may be published.
Participation is at your own risk
Overland travel involves real risk of injury, loss and damage. Anyone joining a convoy stage does so voluntarily, at their own risk and at their own cost, under the participation rules and any local law that applies. The expedition may refuse, suspend or end anyone's participation at any time for safety, legal or conduct reasons.
Live material and accuracy
Live feeds, positions and telemetry are published only when they are verified and safe to publish. Positions may be delayed deliberately. No live signal is ever simulated: if a connection is unavailable, the site says so.
Third-party links
Where we link to other websites or services, we do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
We take care to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on indicative plans, from site downtime, or from decisions you take based on published route information.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the project develops; the version marker at the top of this page changes when we do. The governing law and jurisdiction will be stated here once the operating entity is registered.
Working draft published for transparency during the foundation phase. A final version reviewed by qualified counsel will replace it before departure.
